The expansion of Lane Stadium, home to Virginia Tech football, consists of 40,000 sf of luxury suites and press boxes, 110,000 sf of classrooms, football operations offices, and coaches boxes.
UFI assisted Turner in accelerating the schedule by 5 weeks to complete all concrete work in 26 weeks, working alongside and above the existing stadium through the football season.
UFI provided total concrete frame services including a new stadium plaza and entrance as well as reworking some of the existing walls at the playing field level. In all, UFI poured over 6200 cy of concrete and placed over 600 tons of rebar.
