Description
The Project Superintendent will plan and supervise site operations for the construction of commercial concrete structures working with and supporting project management for the construction of quality projects, built safely, completed on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage project schedule plans for site logistics, formwork systems, subcontracted services
- Develop and implement site specific safety and quality plans
- Develop and manage craft labor plans to meet contract schedule and budget requirements
- Recruit, train, supervise and mentor site staff
- Develop and manage material, equipment, and subcontractor plans to meet contract schedule and budget requirement
- Communicate effectively with clients, owners, architects, vendors, and subcontractors
- Perform administrative tasks required to document activities and maintain compliance with company and contractual requirements
Qualifications:
- College degree or equivalent work experience
- Construction management work experience
- Proficient communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Proficient with AutoCAD, Bluebeam and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project)
Work Requirements:
- Work performed at project jobsites
- Project jobsite conditions may be subject to rough terrain and inclement weather
- Perform a variety of duties which may change often
- Reliable method of getting to office and project jobsites
